FAQ
The physical act of pressing the button creates a deliberate commitment to a specific type of work — red or blue. There's no app to fiddle with, no notifications, no distractions. The device sits on your desk and silently tracks reality: how much time you actually spent doing deep work versus everything else. The weekly summary is often a wake-up call.
No. The companion app is open and your data is yours — you can export it any time. The device itself works as a standalone timer even without the app. I'm one person building this; I have no interest in holding your data hostage.
Because subscriptions are a misaligned incentive. I want to build something good enough that you tell a friend, not trap you into paying forever for something mediocre. You pay once, you own it. If I build features you love later, I'll sell those separately — but the core will always work without an ongoing fee.
